Today I am sharing a mom hack that saves me time and my sanity.
We’ve all been there.
It’s a busy Monday morning and you’re just trying to get the kids out of the door. You need to throw you daughter’s hair up into a pony tail. You run to grab the brush from your room, only to realize that the bow that your daughter wants to wear is upstairs in her bathroom. You finally get it together and our the door. But the morning feels hectic and everyone is a little on edge.
A while back I created a station in our kitchen for all my daughter’s hair stuff to avoid mornings just like that. We live in a two story house but spend most of our time downstairs. We spend our mornings in the kitchen so that’s where it made the most sense for our things to be kept. It’s been great. I can do my kids’ hair in between them eating breakfast and throwing on their shoes.
During my spring cleaning challenge, I decided it was time to upgrade my system a little. I had a basket and just threw it all inside. Which basically meant I was dumping things out looking for a hair tie at the bottom every day. It did the job of holding everything in one spot but I was craving more organization.
Introducing our hair caddy:

I love organizing my home to serve our family and make life easier. This simply caddy does just that. We know exactly where all of the hair products are and they are easy to keep organized in this simple caddy.
