I was a teacher for seven years. And I can tell you from experience that a gift from a student does not need to be big or extravagant. Simply being thought of meant so much. Today I am sharing teacher gift ideas for the first week of school but make sure to save this list because you can use it all year long. Personally, I feel like there are two different types of teachers. Those who love apple everything and those who don’t. So I have included a mixture of ideas. Some of these gifts are from Amazon, a few are from small businesses that I love, and some are from my personal Etsy shop.
Remember to think about your teachers throughout the year. Having an open line of communication and reinforcing them at home is just a great way to support your child’s teacher. It will help your child have a great school year too.

2. A personalized tote bag.
3. A low maintenance plant for their classroom. A nice succulent or a snake plant is a good option. This listing from Amazon comes with 12 plants so if you have multiple kids that have more than one teacher, then this is a great option.
6. Handmade Clay Earrings from Sage and Clay Designs.
7. Gift card to a coffee shop. Use this free printable from Skiptomylou.org to make a simple gift special.
8. A personalized notepad
9. Personalized bracelet stack on Etsy
I hope this post was helpful to you. Save it and shop my links throughout the year. If you have a small shop or have one that you love supporting, please message me the details. I would love to showcase them on the blog.
